GRV_D_inv: A graphical user interface for 3D forward and inverse modeling of gravity data

This paper presents a new gravity inversion tool GRV_D_inv, specifically GUI-based Matlab code developed to determine the three-dimensional depth structure of density interface. The algorithm used performs iteratively in frequency-domain based on relationship between Fourier transforms data and sum powers In this context, proposed is time-efficient computations, thus, it capable handling large arrays data. GUI-enabled interactive control functions enable user with easy setting parameters for strategy prior operation, allow optional choice displaying recording outputs without requiring coding expertise. We validated by applying both noise-free noisy synthetic produced interface; we obtained good correlation calculated ones actual relief even presence noise. also applied real from Brittany (France) determining 3D Moho interface as practical example. recovered depths compare well published structures study area.
